2 Days level 3 Paediatric First Aid Training

The Level 3 Paediatric First Aid course is targeted to impart first aid training specifically for children aged up to one year and children from one year to the onset of puberty. This course is delivered through theoretical and practical learning that builds the individual’s capacity to understand the roles and responsibilities of a paediatric first aider and enables one to assess emergencies.

This course is suited for the people involved in looking after infants and children. They may be playgroup leaders, au pairs, child-minders and teachers. In addition, this course is highly beneficial for the delegates working in National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) in the child care and education sector.

The course is completed in two days at the cost of £119.99. The course timing followed is between 10:00 – 18:00. The minimum age required for the course is 16 years. The assessment test is conducted after the training that includes a written exam and continuous observation. The results can be found within 7-8 working days of the exams and assessment. Candidates passing the exam will receive a Level 2 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) certificate.

Unit 2: How to assess an emergency situation and act safely and effectively

Unit 3: How to provide first aid for a child or an infant in different situations.
