Course Overview

This training course will show you what it means, to work as a teaching assistant in a classroom or educational environment. Since teaching is primarily concerned with working with children, this course will familiarize you with their growth and development to assist them through challenging phases, after which the course curriculum will shed light on the protection and health of children in an educational environment. During your teaching career, you will be required to work with special needs children or children with disabilities, which is why this course has devoted a few modules to guide you on how to support children with disabilities. This course will also teach you how to develop meaningful relationships with children and young people to make the learning experience more relaxed and vibrant.

Prerequisites

• You must be at least 19 years old.
• You must have a basic understanding of Math, English, and ICT.
• A qualification at level 2 or higher in every discipline is required.
