Course overview

The ISO 14001 standard specifies an environmental management framework for organisations to enhance their compliance with environmental guidelines. This certification manifests your knowledge in handling the ISO 14001 standard. Knowledge manifested by this exam is an assurance to stakeholders on your ability to meet the organisational environmental standards required by the industry. 

This exam is the first in the series of ISO 14001 and helps you proceed with the other more advanced levels of the series. The exam tests you about your knowledge and requirements of the ISO 14001 standard. It will also examine your competence in managing both the short-term and long-term environmental impacts of a product or service offered by your organisation. 

Kindly note that we only administer this exam, but we do not offer the course. You will be awarded the ISO 14001: Environmental Management Systems Foundation by PeopleCert. The exam is a 60-minute closed book that requires a pass mark of 26 marks. 

Prerequisites

• Learners must be 19 years or older and must possess a basic understanding of English, Maths and ICT.
